As an Energy and Environmental Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in advising our team on strategies to optimize energy usage, minimize environmental impact and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop long-term strategies for reducing environmental footprints and achieving energy efficiency.

  • You develop and implement energy management strategies at the production line and plant level. In cooperation with copackers and partners, work towards reducing energy use and costs across operations.
  • You recommend and support the adoption of renewable energy solutions, such as solar, wind, and other sustainable sources, to propel our operations towards energy independence and sustainability.
  • In this role you manage energy audits, propose solutions for improving building and facility performance, and orchestrate efforts to enhance energy efficiency. Furthermore you define an internal RedBull energy standard and monitor energy performance indicators. Provide periodic progress reports to leadership based on the established standards.
  • Provide energy guidance based on RedBull Sustainability requirements for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring best practices are met.

  • Degree in Environmental Sciences, Process Engineering, Energy Management or related field (Master Degree is a plus)
  • Fluent in German & English
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in energy management, environmental consultingor a related field
  • Strong knowledge of energy systems, heat utilization,renewable energy solutions, environmental regulationsand sustainability standards.

Bei diesem Praktikum hast Du die Möglichkeit, hinter die Kulissen der TV-Magazine zu blicken. Du wirst deine journalistischen Erfahrungen in einer Redaktion eines TV-Senders vertiefen und unterstützt die Redaktion bei der tagesaktuellen Sendungsvorbereitung. Then this is your chance to become part of our team. We're looking for a talented and experienced business data architect with a passion for engineering, who wants to be part of this journey to shape the media data landscape, helping Business teams to uncover new opportunities and to build data products that deliver tangible business value.

We, as Media Technology & IT department, are responsible for all media technology within the RedBull Media House. We operate over a hundred different applications and tools: from our self-developed media platform to one of the most technically advanced TV studios in Europe. Data and Data driven decisions are an essential part of this setup.


Areas that play to your strengths

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

  • Understand business demands to build the right data products enabling business units to make informed decisions in the field of marketing media.
  • Lead data architecture and engineering, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Establish and continuously improve data integrations and workflows, particularly in the marketing media setup.
  • To remain successful as an organization we need to continue our journey growing as data driven organization. In your role you will work with other teams to shape the technical landscape and integrate data systems effectively.
  • Becoming a strong & communicative member of our department to drive our data journey by building (big) data setups and architectures as well as inspire other team members to think and evolve into this direction.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:

  • At least 3 years of practical experience in the field of data, data architecture, data modelling and data driven decisions
  • Strong experience with (big) data technologies and best practices managing large datasets
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
  • Very good communication and organization skills
  • Data or media technology focused education or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency with data modelling and engineering, Big Data, ETL/ELT, SQL, DDD
  • Persistent, systemic and analytical thinking with an attention to detail
  • Experience in media data setups (recommended)
    Travel 0-10%

Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is € 2446 gross per month.
